Jordan Ryder graduated from New York University, Tisch School of the Arts in 2018 with a BFA in Dance and a double minor in Sociology and The Business of Entertainment, Media and Technology. Throughout her time at Tisch, Jordan was always drawn to creating her own work, so immediately upon graduating she formed her dance company, RyderDance. Her company has presented work in over ten venues throughout New York City and New Jersey, and is in process of working towards its first evening-length work which will premiere in June of 2020. Jordan was a recipient of the 2018 Eryc Taylor New Choreographer Grant and has been commissioned to set original works on the Eryc Taylor Dance Company, Adlai E. Stevenson High School, One Day Dance, and NYU Tisch School of the Art’s Summer High School Residency Program. In addition to concert dance, Jordan has also choreographed for film and theatre, including Art City’s web series, Bromance.
