Bianca was born in Miami, Florida and moved with her family to Costa Rica at the age of three. It was also at this age when she started dancing at Danceworks Costa Rica. Later on, she joined the company where she participated in regional and national competitions. She has received various honors with her own choreography including the National YoungArts Foundation award in choreography. Most recently, her work was selected to participate in Francisco Gella’s New Century Dance Project in Utah. Bianca has been fortunate enough to be trained by amazing educators like Francisco Gella, Peter Chu, Talia Favia, Emma Portner, Jesús Velasco Mondragón, and Matt Luck. Last summer, she was awarded a scholarship to attend NYU Tisch High School Program where she took university credits. Bianca is currently taking on her career in dance at Point Park University, where she was accepted with an artistic scholarship.
