Alhanna is a Costa Rican dancer who started her career from a very young age. At the age of 3, she began dancing under the guidance of her mother and dance teacher, Lily Castillo, who provided her solid bases for ballet and tap. Alhanna’s interest for dance started growing further and she started training and delving deeper into her dance career. She continued to develop herself as a dancer and received most of her formation at Warehouse Dance Complex where she trained for more than 10 years. She has always been a very versatile dancer and has trained in the genres of Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Hip hop, and Acro. At the age of 19 she began her Ballroom studies with instructor David Martínez. Alhanna has been been dedicated professionally to her dance career for around 8 years now. Her most recognized works include Dancing with the Stars Costa Rica (1st season winner with Alex Costa), Tu Cara Me Suena (choreographer & dancer), and Bailando por un Sueño (dancer). She has also had the opportunity to train outside of Costa Rica at DWTS Los Angeles, Dance Fashions and Repertory Seminars New Mexico, Intrigue Dance Convention Orlando, The Dance Awards Las Vegas, as well as at Millenium Dance Complex, Edge Performing Arts, Movement Lifestyle, and Debbie Reynolds Legacy in Los Angeles. She currently works as a Ballroom, Jazz, Latin Fusion, and Hip hop teacher in various studios throughout Costa Rica.
